MAUMELLE, Ark. (April 7, 2026)– Maumelle’s premier senior living community, Mira at Maumelle (Mira), is proud to announce the hiring of local Arkansan Stephen Black as its new executive director. Mira at Maumelle is managed by Health Dimensions Group (HDG), a leading senior living, post-acute, and long-term care management and consulting firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Black brings with him nearly two decades of experience in the Arkansas senior living industry. He most recently served as executive director and operations specialist at Willow Grove of Maumelle for over two years, where he managed all areas of the 85-bed community. Prior to that, Black gained operational and leadership experience as executive director at the Blake at Chenal Valley in Little Rock, executive director at Vitality Senior Living in Little Rock and healthcare administrator at Peachtree Village in Holiday Island. Outside of his career, Black has been a choral facilitator at local churches since 2003 and is a member of Project L.I.F.E., where he aides seniors in duties they are unable to perform.
In his new position, Black will oversee the day-to-day operations of Mira at Maumelle, ensuring high-quality resident care and service as well as compliance with state and federal regulations. As executive director, Black will work closely with the HDG team to implement best practices for operational and clinical excellence.
