Do you offer transportation to local churches?
Mira at Maumelle does not provide transportation to local churches, but we bring worship to you. We host a Sunday afternoon service and a Wednesday Bible study on-site, both open to all residents and welcoming to family members who’d like to join.
Yes. Christ the King visits Mira at Maumelle regularly to serve communion to residents who wish to participate. If you’re part of a local church that would like to bring communion to a loved one here, we’d love to welcome you. Just contact our community to coordinate a visit.
Absolutely. We welcome resident-led and church-led activities of all kinds — worship services, Bible studies, prayer groups, hymn sings, and more. If you’d like to lead or host something, reach out, and we’ll help make it happen.
No. Faith-based programming at Mira at Maumelle is always optional. We offer a wide variety of programming so every resident, regardless of religious background or preference, can find activities that feel meaningful and comfortable. No one is ever required to participate in anything they’d rather not.
Yes. We offer a guest apartment at Mira at Maumelle, breakfast included. Please call ahead to reserve.
We don’t have set visiting hours. This is our residents’ home, so family and friends are welcome to visit any time, day or evening.
Mira at Maumelle is not tied to a single church or denomination. We welcome residents of all Christian traditions and other faiths, and our worship, Bible studies, and pastoral visits are open to anyone who wishes to participate. Clergy of any denomination are warmly welcome to visit residents.
Yes, always. Clergy, ministers, and ministry teams from any local church are welcome to visit residents for prayer, communion, scripture reading, or simply to spend time together. If you’d like us to help coordinate or notify staff in advance, please give us a call.
Mira at Maumelle marks the major Christian holidays with worship services, special meals, hymn sings, and community gatherings. Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other meaningful days are honored throughout the community, and families are invited to join in. We also respect and recognize other faith traditions that our residents observe.
Yes. Mira at Maumelle works closely with local clergy, chaplains, and hospice partners, including Arkansas Hospice, to make sure residents and families have the spiritual care, prayer, and pastoral presence they need during illness, hospice care, and end of life. We’ll help coordinate visits with your loved one’s pastor or a chaplain whenever requested.
